Brief Description:
Participatory Advancement Social Service PASS a local non-government and non-profitable organization (NGO) had been working in Northern part of Bangladesh since 1995, PASS works for the socio-economic and cultural development for the rural ultra-poor people for the establishment of their basic rights in the society focusing culture, Human rights, health, skill development and education. PASS effects such development by, implementing project and involving with the project beneficiaries that benefit ultra-poor people giving priority to man and woman, adolescent girls and children. Providing support in children and adolescent girls education, skill development enhancing people’s participation and facilitating increasing the capacity of union parishad (local Govt. bodies). Participatory Advancement Social Service PASS has been working in Northern part of Bangladesh since February 1995 for the socio-economic and cultural development of the poor people in the working area through different programs like raising awareness on social issues, Water sanitation hygiene promotion child education, child & human rights, child trafficking, health, and disaster programs. It has been imparting training on folk songs and popular theater. It has been working for advocating issues like education, water sanitation and hygiene promotion, arsenic, child & women trafficking, early marriage, birth registration, child with disabilities, child & human rights, reproductive health, HIV AIDS and disaster and disaster preparedness programs.

To create a peaceful society and develop our country an self-reliant country through mobilizing all people so that they respect, apprehend and reflect Bangladeshi culture in the their families, society and national level.

Mission:
To restore, preserve and utilize our culture, which will lead to bring positive changes in the lives of the community people toward improving the quality of lives through awareness activities about their rights and building their confidence for calming their rights.
